MiG flights in Russia enable tourists to fly jet fighter by David Allen
To put it bluntly: A “>mig flight is not available at a bargain price. MiG-31 flights to the stratosphere cost dependent of the jet flight duration up to EUR 20,000. And a mig 29 flight is with about half the price for the short mig 29 flight program still expensive. Fly jet fighters is something that is not affordable for anybody: Many customers are top managers, entrepreneurs, or multinationals on the look for a truly unique incentive program for key staff or key account customers.
But mig jet flights in jets like Mikoyan (or Mikoyan-i-Gurevich) mig 29 fulcrum or mig 31 foxhound are also often ordered by ordinary, and nor especially well-off individuals: Medical assistants, motor mechanics or receptionists. What is most surprisingly, however, is the quote of female jet fighter pilots that order Russian mig flights. Women seem to be willing quite often to spend a lot of money for a mig 29 flight starting from a Russian airbase. But what they like even more are Mig 31 flights to the Edge of Space. This is probably the main difference between male and female mig flight tourists that fly fighters in Nizhniy Novgorod: While male that are interested in Russian mig flights usually prefer the fly the highly manoeuvrable mig 29, fly jet fighters at supersonic speed and experience high G-forces while flying looping with the mig jet fighter, women often prefer to book the less stressful mig 31 flight to the stratosphere. It seems that mig flights do not mean the same thing for men and women: Men prefer “action” during a mig 29 flight, while women enjoy the silence and loneliness at an altitude of 24-25km during the mig 31 jet flight, topped only by the astronauts and cosmonauts on board of the international space station (ISS). The view up there is indeed an incredible adventure: Edge of space flights offers a view like known from satellite photos. Mig jet flight pilots can see the curvature of the earth, the sky above them is fading to black and sprinkled with countless stars. Not surprisingly women indulge in mig 31 flights.
One more thing Russian mig pilots that are engaged in Russian mig flights for tourists, at Sokol Airbase in Nizhny Novgorod observed is: For women that booked a mig flight it seems to be less important to overtake control when they fly mig jet fighters. Men that fly jet fighters, on the other hand, are very amused by fly fighters and want to control the mig 29 jet fighter themselves for as long as possible during their mig jet flights. Fighter jets are with some help less difficult to control than one might imagine: But it seems that male mig flight customers are less afraid to make mistakes and therefore prefer fly jet fighters themselves after a proper training, while female customers that fly fighters have more respect.
